My dad Stewart sadly died in 2006 after being diagnosed with lung cancer early in 2005. A non-smoker like Roy Castle, it came as a huge shock to us all when he was diagnosed. He enjoyed watching football, being a keen Manchester United fan, but expressed a desire to watch FC United of Manchester in his final days. He also enjoyed walks with the family dog and tinkering with various cars, mostly Volkswagen beetles! He is missed every single day by his family, notably his widow Heather, his sons Stuart and Darren, his sister Kathy and his brothers Brian and Andrew
